Coma Tombéa (m 1,949) belongs to the mountain group extending between the Garda Lake and the Idro Lake, it is crossed by the border between the Province of Trento – towns of Storo and Bondone – and that of Brescia – town of Magasa. It is not very high, ilke the near mountains, but its landscape and geological formation are very interesting, and it is well known by the botanists from all over Europe due to the many endemic flower species that survived the last glaciation, which makes it a niche of extraordinary scientific value. This publication describes this niche of the Ledrensi Alps between geology, botanics and legends.
