Ancient “Giane”, Saints and mysterious figures inhabit the woods around S. Martino. They are the characters of the many legends surrounding this archaeological site. It is one of the most fascinating and richest in history places in the territory. Situated on the plain of Alto garda, at an altitude of 800 m, the S. Martino archaeological site lies in a strategical location near the transit ways that connected Alto Garda to the Brescia’s territory eastwards and to the Alpine area northwards.
